I know this is a stupid question: but in what order are torpedoes reloaded from your ammo? Let's say this represents the loadout:
Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 A B C D E F G H I J K L is it JGD, ADG, or some other order? It's really annoying when you think you're loading an acoustic homing torp but you instead load a FAT!!!

I think they just take the one nearest the top of the list. So if you fire a forward tube it will be replaced from the highest available reload slot.
If you have 'Auto Reload' turned off you can of course tell them exactly which one to load.

My computer is in storage so I can't take a screenshot to show you!
![]() In the 'I' Torpedo Screen, at the bow of the boat you see the four torpedo tubes. Under that is...oh, I get it now. They take the ones from the forward set first.

So lets say you have four forward tubes and five reserve torpidos: A TII and three electrice fats and a falcon, all apering in that order top down in your reserve list. I think what Steve is saying is if you fire one tube the TII should be loaded first if you have auto loading truned on.
If you want to have the kind of control you are talking about in your torpido loading switch the auto loader off and then you can drag and drop your torpidos into what ever tube you want them too. That is what I have started doing after I kept finding my self in a position that would make great use of a torpido I have in reserve but didn't get to use it beacouse the auto loader didn't give it to me. |

It's funny, but I have Auto-Reoads turned off, but not so I can choose my torpedoes. From my reading they wouldn't reload while in combat, because steep dive angles while avoiding depth charges could cause real problems while manhandling a torpedo weighing a ton or more.
I shoot, then run and hide, then reload when it's safe.

From your diagram, Torvald, my crew tends to draw from the bottom of column 1 and work their way up from there. Although, I had noticed some randomness from time to time. I don't use Auto-Reload either, finally turned it off. I'd rather dictate what we keep in our tubes ("misbehaving" recruits, for example).
