Quick TMO question

First, I'm brand new here and new to using mods. So far TMO is really well done. Thanks for the hard work making it work.

Question, there is a 3rd machine gun mount now. Can I fire it manually or can it only be fired by an assigned crew member? I might be missing something real simple here (like when I was getting angry that I couldn't have a bow deck gun only to realize I had the stern deck gun mod turned on the whole time).

Unrealated, is it my correct understanding that past 600 feet things get kind of funky as far as maintaining depth? I got a boat below that, pressed A but it wouldn't maintain depth and just kept falling as if still in a normal dive. So I just had to blow before I went too deep and got crushed.

yes you can operate the third AA gun, which is mounted on the deck aft of conning tower.F11 I believe cycles you through the AA guns, first one should be the deck mounted 20 MM

You can level off below 600 feet BUT you need speed, 5 knots or more usually.Just an issue left over from stock which(stupidly) only let you got o 450 feet.Ducimus changed that so you had a 600 foot depth gauge.In TMO 7 i liked how deep dive worked better because you could hit shift D and boat would keep going down until you hit the A key, was easier to control than in TMO 19 but below 600 feet, speed is key.

Strange, I've never had a problem holding my depth at 600 or more as lone as I've had no damage regardless of speed.

Learned something new, didn't know I could manually use the 3rd AA gun, so I'll give it a try, not that I ever shoot at planes, but comes in handy for ships.

I miss the deep dive buttom, came in handy when you wanted more angle on the plane but didn't want all the speed. I used it alot below the crash dive default depth doing the depth changes we discussed about dodging charges,,

I may try to fix a few buttons. I misc tapping my misc button twice for the cam, instead of the captains quarters that has no use. Wish he would've left that button alone, someone can get int the captians room by the door if they want.
