Default [WIP] Drag coeficient

LR left/right drag

UD up/down drag

has anyone ever tampered with the drag coeficient ?

if so what settings should be used in respect to ship size/ weight ?

I need to make the Narwhal and my big IJN subs more sluggish underwater

Here above is the Balao Class drag factor.

I haven't experimented too much with the drag settings but from your SS I can see you are using the "1.4" format of unit_Submarine. The "1.5" format was made for the Type XVIII with the add-on and has an additional front/rear drag setting. I haven't tampered with that setting at all yet, but that may be the one your looking to change.

Ducimus create a Pseudo-Narwhal for TM using parts of existing subs, and tweaked all those parameters to have a more realistic response. I suppose that if you copy them it should be as good as it gets, since Ducimus is the more experienced here when it comes to such things.

To get historical turning and diving rates for the Balao class in RFB I used values of 1.0 and 0.9 (surfaced & submerged, respectively) for the LR drag and 0.2 and 1.0 for the UD drag.
