NASCAR usually is. I try to get into it time and time again, but I just can't. I watched the first couple laps and turned the channel. I caught up with the race later on with only 30 laps left or so. Maybe part of my problem is the announcers. Darryl Waltrip drive me nuts! And what's up with that stupid gopher?

They race on an oval track, that is boring by default.

It struck me as strange that after all that racing and sitting around waiting on the asphault repair to dry it basically came down to three laps... well three laps three times

Could have saved a whole lot of time and money and just race three laps to begin with

I think I've watched the Daytona 500 twice, it marks the start of a new season in motorsports after a long winter break.
