Training Torpedoes

Would it be possible to create training torpedoes?
Then more realistic training type missions could be added to the tutorials with your sub using non exploding torps on targets.
Basically an immersion factor but a nice touch for newbies and it would allow for multiple engagements within the same tutorial since your target would not sink.
A tug towing a target might even be an addition.

The only thing you could do to this effect would be to "remove" the warhead from the existing torpedoes. More torpedoes can not be added to the game unfortunately.

and I think Keltos01 would know a thing or two about adding torpedoes, the Japanese Sub mod he's making has more than just the stock set IIRC

He changed the displayed names and the specs of the torpedoes but did not add any. So we have "Japanese" torpedoes but they are made from the German torpedoes by changing the speed, setting, explosive power etc. He even changed the icons for them that show on the sub.

Modded German torp. I could be wrong but I think ETR3 is correct that you can not add torpedoes to the game.
