Default Getting DICASS to go active?

Just found DW in a box of old PC games and am enjoying it.

After launching a DICASS from the helo, I can't seem to get it to go active, even when "hot". Tried clicking "Activate" in Helo station, changing mode on gram, but it won't open an active gram or go active.

I have v1.04.

What am I missing?

You need 3 free channels to enable the active mode of DICASS sonobuoys.
Since the standard helicopter in DW has only 4 grams, you need 3 of them for active DICASS of a single sonobuoy.

Not only that you also have to have to be in range believe its 30 miles from helo to ship to be able to do link data. also make sure the mode switch is on air/ship to.
