Vista and 1650x1080

I have tried to get the res changed but no joy. Anyone know how to get it to 1650x1080? I did a search but can only find xp. Any help will be appreciated.

I use this fix for my machine running Vista 32.

Hello can someone please put up a step by step guide on how to get this to work on Vista 64?

I have placed the d3d9.cfg and d3d9.dll in the following folder.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Games\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII

I have edited the d3d9.cfg file so that the resolution section looks like this.

; ResX: Horizontal resolution setting
; ResY: Vertical resolution setting
; useFiltering: Use linear filtering for UI elements
; enableScreenshots: Hook printscreen keypress to save TGA screenshot
resX=1680
resY=1050
useFiltering=1
enableScreenshots=1
screenshotPath=.

But when I load the game. It is still displaying the game at 1024 x 768. However I did notice that my mouse moves all the way off the right hand side of the screen and the bottom of the screen.

So this config file is doing something. But the game itself is still displaying in 1024 x 768 for some reason.

So does anyone know what is going on here and how can I get the game to run in 1680 x 1050?

I have also tried changing the video resolution from 1024 x 768 to 1680 x 1050 in the Main.cfg file located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Games\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Cfg

But that makes no difference.

So I am at a total loss as to how to get the resolution to change and any assistance here would be greatly appreciated.
