Default What's next?

Well, what a month it's been for Silent Hunter V news. A limited selection of ONE U-boat, a limited time in the war, and limited to playing while connected (be honest, which we all are 99% of the time ).

What's next? I wonder if Ubi has any more pleasant surprises for us?? Maybe Germany wins the war? Maybe a cameo by Churchill as the cook?

As long as the server doesn't crash on a Friday night at the start of the weekend we should be good to go.

What's next? Customers paying to keep their servers online, a feature they forced on them in the first place.

yep

$5 per month surcharge for server use.

so, a $60 game, over the course of 3 years play, translates to... $240

nice.

I suspect add-ons. It is something that has happened for years. Seems to be catching up to UBI perhaps. Buy a sub, buy a theater. Snorkels for sale in six months. Come on, think the uboat struggle ends in 43? Just started and a large part of the simulation.

That's very easy:

next is me rediscovering my old and abandoned weekend hobbies like motorcycle riding (And mantaining, 2 strokes are a b*tc you know ), hill climbing, adn sailing. Looks like I will have again plenty of my spare time in the near future, so thanks UBI for giving me a reason to drop my cholesterol again to reasonable levels.

The SH5 boats automatically implode when you hit 165 meters

No. The energy bar starts to go down slowly. Once you're back above 165 it recovers.
