Hello!
I'm now playing the game and it's 1943. Long story short I engaged a convoy in my Balao class sub and sank my targets. Making my esape I was caught off guard focusing on a couple of the escorts while the third one came out of nowhere and depth charged me. I suffered only external damage (AA, deck gun and both periscope heads). Now, the question is how do I set up a firing solution while submerged without the visual targeting through the periscopes which are now out? //Matthias, soon to be in dire straits. |

Go for night surface attack using the TBT or attempt sonar shot.Best idea is to head for home and get repaired as they would in RL.

Agreed. You really need to head back to the barn with that sort of damage.
If an attack is necessary, as Bubblehead says, on the surface at night is your best bet. |

Two night attacks and eight torpedos later using the TBT I racked up one huge european, one old passanger liner and two large modern tankers in the Luzon Strait.
After that I headed back to end my patrol. |
