Snowfall in Sh4

Hi everybody !

I´m new to the forum and SH4 and i would like to say thanks for all the outstanding mods been created for SH3 and Sh4.
At the moment we have a lot of snow and i want it to snow in my game, better say mission. No Cold War Mission without snowfall, right?
Can someone help me out?

Snow is not coded into SH3/4, but I suppose it could be somehow modded from the existing rain

AFAIK, Nobody has done it yet, though.

WOW. Snow on top of the rain. No wonder i can't see.

That would very interesting too see while on patrol.
I would be looking forward to seeing this.

like hitman said, it could only be done with a mod but the problem is it is all or nothing so it is snow OR rain so if you use a snow mod then it snows at warm tropic locations too so its one of those sacradices you make to not have the rest of the game be too unrealistic

And why the heck seasonal clothing was never implemented. How nutty dose it look to be patrolling in the North Atlantic in January without jackets or gloves? Oilskins don't count because that only shows up in rough seas.

It would be cool to have snow but if it snowed everywhere thatd be plain stupid

Of course it makes no sense if it snows in the Pazific, but for a single mission it would be cool. At the moment i don´t know how to start or were to begin. Any idea anybody?
