Porting SHIII ships into SHIV?

I remember reading a while back that it was possible to convert ships from the SHIII mod packs into SHIV but I can't seem to find the instructions on how to do it. Has anyone cracked this nut yet?

Lurker already has a bunch of IABL's ships in Op Monsun, so it can be done. I don't know if any are in the new Fleet Boat mods, but we can always hope.

Really all you have to do is copy and paste the files, no modifying needed.
