Historically, how long, on average, do you guys think a U-Boat would stay in port between patrols?
Thanks, U-48KM

Around 20 to 30 days in most cases. (source www.uboat.net, you ll get patrol info for uboats with date of departure and arrival ex: http://www.uboat.net/men/commanders/1373.html

Depends on the time of the war...
U 99 spent 3 days in port in june and 4 days in port in july of '40.But thats stuff for the record book. 3 to 4 weeks with no or little damage, months with major overhauls. http://uboat.net/index.html

I always give my crew a 30 day leave. Then, it's back to sea.

I always recommend SH3 Commander, as this is another of its great functions: Randomized days in port. It varies from year to year, based on the actual averages.
I've spent five days in port, and I've spent 50 days in port, all due to excellent research by JScones and friends.
