It's snowing!!!!!!

Sorry, I got this posted the wrong place, please move to GT section...

For a long time, I have yearned to see some real heavy snow weather again. And it has been snowing outside today. We have about 10-25 cm of snow right now, here in Odense. I hope there will be some in Copenhagen too, to calm down all the heavy decisions they have to make at the COP15.

Here's a shot of my bike before I had to leave today, and here's another from the forest I had to pass.
The photos have been made with my mobile phone. I have to get out and make some more photos with my DSLR camera again tomorrow... I was just out this evening, and I will post some more later...

JUST BEAUTIFULL

Got our snow abit late (last week) over here. Seems to be much colder winter than what the few last one's were, temps atm at -21C.

Exactly, it's very beautiful, the snow. I really like it, that is in the winter time...
I have just been out for a couple of hours to make some photos, and I'll go out again tomorrow in the daylight to get some there too. Will try and post some of those photos later.
If any of you get snow in your area, feel free to post some photos too.

We had snow strangely early (December 5th, I think) here in the D.C. area, but it melted pretty quickly, like it normally does. On balance, this is a warm climate.

Right now it's 23 degrees F./ -5 C. w/the windchill, outside.

Seen some very nice snow while I was in Poland a couple of months ago, but unfortunately we don't get much (Well, a single day in the last 10 years that I can remember) around here.

Nice cykel. How about bringing it inside so your next trip doesn't start off with a wet tail?

We've got a small dusting of the stuff, probably won't get much more than that I'd reckon because of the salt air. Inland will probably get more...and then the entire United Kingdom shuts down for the rest of the year.

I saw some of the wrecks on TV2, and felt absolutely no guilt over missing it.

As long as you don't have to drive, enjoy it. It realy is pretty.

Expecting 10cm tomorrow, first snow of the year. I'm actually keeping an eye on the weather-radar in anticipation.

I'll take out the camera if I get a chance. Right on the coast here; any snow that falls usually doesn't last long.

It's here!

First light is bouncing of the gray sky, and the flakes have started falling.

Still half an hour to sunrise, maybe I can catch those first rays glistening on the first snow of the season.

My ears! IT BURNSZ!!!

It's no winter-wonderland, but with a coat of snow it's actually bearable to look at. Even enjoyable to walk through: nothing like the crunching of fresh snow under your feet, placing the first prints before the hoards of other feet turn it into slush.

I'm sure I don't need to point out that I'm no photographer, or that the darn camera suffers from barrel distortion.
