Okay I just got finished with a long mess with ASUS.
I bought a ASUS G71GX gaming laptop from them. The thing is a beast.
I love it.

But after one month of use major problems arose; video card, hard drive and memory failures. ASUS, gave me RMA and took it back without problems.

Then they kept it for a month! THAT IS RIGHT THEY HAD IT IN "REPAIR" FOR THE SAME TIME I HAD IT!

I would call them 3 times a week asking about it. And they said, we do not know what its status is.

I got really mad, and flipped on them.

They sent me my laptop back, repaired, with Windows 7 installed.

Great! But now when ever I move the laptop, weird sounds come from the speaker. As if the speaker is loose and hitting something!

I am pissed

Personally have had nothing but good experiences with ASUS, but have never had one of their laptops.

I keep hearing how great they are, and the laptop is amazing.
But the CS sucks

I only know one person who has owned one of they're laptops and I believe he wasn't very impressed with the CS either

AsRock is even worse (spin-off company of Asus). They have excellent value for money, but it seems they can offer good value only because their CS is lacking. I guess it's the same with Asus; good boards, good price, but they cut costs with poor CS.
