I'm getting crashes with this when using the deck gun. Loaded up the Balikpapan scenario using the Porpoise and get these wild sound effects {a double or triple blast}. Then it will hang up SH4 with a hard crash. Just thought I'd let you know.

Possibly the computers, locked up on mine too. You are shooting a shell every 1/100th of a second. I used the Gato in the Phillipeans and it gave me a message that I could not engage at that angle first. You only have an elevation of 5 degrees and it needed more to reach the ships. You must have been close to the ships in your 'test'. It worked ok, until I manned it myself, first and second ship ok, but third reload it froze. Tried again and it froze on the first ship.

You also have a number that I think you set wrong for what you are trying to do. For the Gato you have the elevation speed at .1, which means it moves 1/10 of a degree per second. So it would take almost a minute to move 5 degrees. With the gun shooting so many shells, a DD can approach your sub faster than the deckgun can change elevation to keep up with it, so most of them miss.

I use the recently released "Sub Nuclear munitions mod" with the Mark 14 torpedoes and a similar one for the Deck Gun/AA gun ammo. That's about it. This "SubNuclear" ammo is something incredible. I nailed the Yamato at Kure last night with 6 torpedoes and ROASTED the bugger.

I'll download your mod again and am about to get the Webster download and give them a whirl..

Running things now and no problems to report so far. I use the SubNuclear munitions and torpedo mod + your new mod in Porpoise + the enhanced weapon .SIM files from the Webster deck gun mod.

The result is just awesome.

Cranking out shells with sub-nuke impact crashing down like an AC-130 gunship. To test this out, I just wiped out the entire Japanese task force at Balikpapan. The Naka is gone and Admiral Nishimura is practicing his swimming skills.

Thanks a bunch!!
