Default Help. I'm lost.

Hello. I am going to buy a laptop and i found two possible solutions. The first one has an HD4650 1Gb onboard while the other one an HD4570 512Mb on board. The first one costs 900 euros while the second one 600euros. I can afford to pay up to 800euros.
Other differences: 1st choice: 2,13GHz processor Intel Core Duo P7350
640Gb SATA Hard disk
2nd choice: 2GHz processor Intel Core Duo T4200
320GHz SATA Hard disk
Both laptops are Toshiba.
Both laptops have 4Gig RAM.

Pleasa bear in mind that the machine must be able to play SH5 descently. Its imperative.

Help plz. I can't decide.

A special request for anyone living in Lyon,France. Do you guys know any shop other than fnac or darty where i can buy a laptop? Merci d' avance.

If it were me and it is not, I would take the lesser machine of the two. Reason one, I would never use 640GB of hard disk. Not in this life time. That leaves us with two processors. Both are close in speed. Too close to matter to me. Vid card, the card with the 512mb should run SH5 without issue. 4 gigs of RAM are just great so you are good there no matter what you buy. Toshiba is a good computer. My folks have one and they have not managed to blow it up. Lord knows they try.

One key - you requested a machine that will run SH5.

As of right now, we have no idea what specs SH5 is going to require, or recommend.

If this is "critical" - wait on the purchase for a few more months until the specs are released.

Your eyes will say thank you years from now

I have to say I am slightly confused. Let me get this straight.. you have a choice between a 600 and 900 euro laptop, but can only afford to spend 800?

doesn't that put the 900 euro system out of your price range then?
