Gosh darnit guys! Yer determined to embarrass me aren't ya!!!
 LOL! I had no idea somebody might post that HERE!!! All the same, thank you. I just can't tell you just how many hundreds of extra hours went into it... on top of my regular duty shifts with the ambulance... and all the work on GWX... I feel like I've been holding my breath... and walking for years... Its just been so HARD! It will be a couple of weeks before all the paperwork clears between the National Registry and the reciprocity for State Registry... but its a done deal. Next stop: After three years of fulfilling my contract and meeting other requirements... I'll be eligible to apply for a helicopter rescue service somewhere... ... but that's a couple thousand more 911 calls away. One piece at a time aye? Today feels really wierd... but good! (Though I'm not really looking forward to the part where the guys at the station spend a week "setting the patch" after its sewn on... Basically, every time they see you... they get to punch you in the arm where the patch is... as hard as they like.  )I'll be damned! I've been an EMT-I for so long. Never thought I'd see the day when I'd make it 'over the hump.' SOMEHOW! I DID IT!!! I'm a PARAMEDIC now!!!
