Another research poll for future modding efforts. Some things to keep in mind:

-UB coastal attack boats often had just two torpedoes, and many lacked a deck gun.

-Many early U-Boats had about the same torpedo loadout of the Type II (6 torpedoes) but one less tube (2 TT).

-In any mod, large U-Boats like U-135 will be very difficult to obtain and will only become available late in the war.

-Most attacks were done on the surface with guns or explosive charges to save torpedoes.

I like the U-9 and the cruisers.

And if this mod comes out, maybe before TSWSM V3: elite warships, maybe we can do a World War I mod instead?!

Yikes, let's have it all. The only thing better than options is more of them. This is fascinating. I'd love to see something come of this.

What about UC-types i.e. submarine minelayers?
If RN subs are to be included, I vote for the "R" class!

With 4x 6" guns and 10 torpedo tubes, that thing easily outgunned even a light cruiser of the time. It was also armoured, so it could take more of a beating than a normal submarine.

The Projekt 50 Tauchschiff (Dive Ship, nice upscaling from Under-Sea Boat) was pretty much the ultimate U-Cruiser.

Not sure, the British had a similar setup with their also-steam powered K class submarines though.

I prefer vigorous submarines U-31 class. Near all submarines have more then 100000 tons!
