When you Change the Tower from VIIB/2 it is possible to make the VIIC/1 Tower on an Type VIIB

Well yes it should be

although you cant place the larger towers on the small subs I.e the IIA IID

What version racerboys tower or the normal game tower ???

For me it would the Normal game Tower as it in gwx is,
i use "Das Boot VIIC" skin, it also works on type VIIB but i think not on the tower. Think it would work with the VIIC Tower

I would really appraise your mod with a VIIC Tower on my VIIC Boats.

(edit: but i would ratify it with racerboys flags mod too, i can't youse it, because i use the VIIC, but when it is now possible to have an VIIC Tower on the Type VIIB then i used it for sure.)
