Saw this earlier when surfing the net reading about old Soviet subs.

Whiskey class sub for sale, $0.5 million. Maybe we should have a whip round...

Yeah that was up for sale in 2000 they sold it to a canadian i do believe not 100% sure though not a bad buy for a 50 year old boat wouldnt like to dive in it mind !

One of these landed on the rocks at karlskrone sweden in 1982, they were old and obsolete then.

I suppose it be good for south american drug smuglers what you think?

Tourism was another suggested use. Wouldnt mind buying it and doing a cruise around the Med. Ill surface in Monaco harbour just in time for next years GP.

I wouldnt mind using it to sail up into portsmouth the royal navy would be like what the heck how did that get past the ASW screen.
