Very sad, but not unexpected. I remember someone saying he was next after the McMahon/Fawcett/Jackson/Mays streak a couple weeks ago.

The coincidence with the Moon landing is appropriate, I think. He was a true giant of that era, and the Moon landing was one of the biggest events of that era.
He will be dearly missed, but he lived a long and very productive life, and left us with plenty to remember him by. |
