This NHC thing will only make health care poor health care. How many examples have we seen of how poorly it works? I have a personal story which reinforces this opinion. It happened in Europe under a gov't health scenerio....I wish it happened in the US where I could count on the best available tratment ISO a bearucrat's idea of best treatment.

There are a lot of problems in the healthcare system. First, there is no system. Some have it and some don't. That is the system. Under the governments plan you do not have to get the government insurance. If you are happy with your own insurance you can keep it. Well, that is good and all but why would an employer keep insurance on his employees when he can have them get their own under the government? He will not. Eventually everyone will be on the government insurance plan, there will be backlogs and your health care decisions will be made by some page on Capital Hill not a doctor.
Welcome to the new order.

I see a cut of 400 billion in medicad/medicare with means these folks will be on this new government plan. The bad part here is the brilliant minds on Capital Hill say if you like your plan you can stay with it. Do you think employers will want to keep paying for health when the government will? Hell no. This will force all into a huge beauracray of medical care. That is the problem. I suspect we will keep ours as is. It is just they way my boss is. In fact, he is the one that loads my credit card with $2400.00 every year. If I do not use the entire $2400.00 he replenishes the account back to $2400.00. I would sure hate to become one that has government health care. The wait time will be nuts to see a doctor. The pencil pushers will be calling the shots for what test and care you should receive. If Tort reform worked the cost of medical would not be as bad as it is. Futhermore, I read that those that are covered pay an additional $1600.00 a year to cover the uninsured. Let's face it, the whole system is a mess and has been left unchecked for decades.
