Default So uh... which mod...

I know this gets asked a lot... but since I have been away for so long...

Which mod is offering the most realism with the most bad ass visuals arround?

Hard to say. Each big mod has its own approach to realism.

My self: i love to do the job my self. Thus i love the manual targeting. I want to have the correct visual impression of the ships - like the real skippers saw them. So im using RFB 1.5 with RSRD(thats a must no matter what mod you use!!) and the new Real Enviroment mod for visual effects.

Then i have made a few adjustments on top of these like the camera.dat file and the periscope overlays to get correct fleetboad view through the old a bit larger Betterscope images. I have allso incorporated the mod that incorporates a sliderule and one that alows you to manualy dial in any height in the stadimeter so you can choose if you want to make the stadimeter measurement for the mast, funnel or top of deck (im using that with the real ONI manual where the height for all these figures), thus able to get good stadimeter ratings in most situations and against most ships.

Then a mix of two radarmods, one that adds a range dial and one that gives a better display.
