SH5 4Q 2009???

Anyone else think that the release plot is a pretty soon considering that they only sort of announced that work had started on SH5 at the back end of last year.

As it is build as all new code i just hope that they don't rush it out the door. Instead take as long as possible over it to make sure that it is a bug free upon release as possible.

I know the are people around here who know far far more about building a PC game from scratch than myself.

So what is everyone else views on this.

If SH5 do's like SH4 and makeit so alot of peeps have to upgrade their vid cards again it's going to hurt sales.

I don't mean build a new rig either.

There's still fast agp cards out there and ram is almost give away.

My old rig had a 7800GT 512mb and 4 gigs of ram that XP couldn't use all of and SH4 ran with al settings on high with good fps and smooth game play.

Also something else to add.

What OS are the UBI devs useing to build SH5 ?

What kinda rig specs are they useing ?

This can make a difference too.

Good question. I have recently got a new rig Quad core with Vista 64 bit. I wonder if it will work with 64bit OS and will be optimised for more than single core processors out of the box.

Alot of people here don't realize the hidden hard work that went into GWX 3.0 so alot of players could play on their differing computers.

Lets hope UBI takes that into consideration in these tough economic times.

An upgrde of specs or OS just isn't in the cards for alot of players .

I, for one, would be willing to accept modest graphics in exchange for superior AI, depth, realism, and detail. Gameplay and immersion! But I think I'm rather the exception in not caring as much about the graphics.
