* additional country - England - with three new cities to drive in

* ferries

* several new smaller roads in Central Europe

* improved DirectX compatibility

* OGG music player

Anyway, did you know that in ETS you can never find out the type of truck you're driving? There's no mention of your truck's model anywhere in the menus. 18 Wheels of Steel gave you all that information and more in the logbook , but not in this game.

18 Wheels of Steel : Across America is still my preferred game over ETS. ETS may have prettier visuals, but the gameplay is kinda stale ( no weigh bridges , no drivers for hire , no radio communication e.t.c )
