Default Host not visible

I recently faced a multiplayer problem with Dangerous Waters.

While setting up some matches I had the problem that I not able to see the hosted games of one friends while others do.
I checked ping quality, which was not that good but actually there.
We couldn't find any reason.
I never had any trouble with joining games but no chance in this case.

Someone else has had any trouble líke that?

I would say to check your firewall permissions to make sure that the game is allowed to access the net.

I already checked that. All permission. Otherwise I couldnt join at all I guess. Its only when my friend is hosting that I cant see his game. But others can join him....

That is quite a weird error which has been around since the release of DW. Sometimes one or more players just don't see the host on one day while it works perfectly on the other day. Sometimes if one of those hosts instead everybody else (incl. the former host) might be able to see him ...

As I said .. weird. As far as I remember SCS never solved that problem and we never found a good workaround except changing hosts till you have one everybody else can see. And keep in mind that this behaviour might be present one day and gone the next ...

It could also be caused by not configuring the adapters.txt/dw.ini files as directed in the FAQ.
