It would be nice if
When you encounter a BIG task force you could call in some help,like air strikes,AI ships and or subs etc to help...Someone please take care of this in their spare time......

Well, realistically, you'd have to surface in order to send a dispatch back to HQ, and depending on the situation they either order you in or tell you to back off and let someone else handle it. And also realistically, this is WWII, not the present-day Gulf War; unless they happen to have forces in the area (besides you), the best they can do is send someone to intercept it later on.

A lot depends on what period it is in the war. If it's 1942 and you spot a juicy task force in Japanese waters, the nearest American airplane is about 2,000 miles away.
