New sub offered?

Ok I was offered a new sub..agato Iam sure and also it would be the drum again. I didnt want the drum for the tenth time...it keeps getting sunk

Anyways I declined and Iam wondering if another Gato will be offered at a later date?
Iam playin TMO and rsrdc...thanks for any input!

Yep you will normally you are offered 3 new subs depending how well you do.

u guys dont use the savegame function?

just go back and have it reoffered?

Edit SSGato.cfg (for example) in

Data\Roster\American\Submarine\

with Notepad to pre-select your favorite boats before you are offered a new command and don't include USS Drum...

- Or make 20 Units all the same - the game doesn't care. Change the DOC if you don't care about historical accuracy.

[Unit 1]
Name=USS Flying Fish (SS-229)
DOC=19411210
DOD=19540528

[Unit 2]
Name=USS Flying Fish (SS-229)
DOC=19411210
DOD=19540528

etc, etc
