rez fix for vista 64

hi.

i just started playing around with silent hunter 3 and i downloaded and installed the grey wolves 3 gold mod and everything runs well but im stuck with the screen resolution issue. i spent a few hours messing around with the downloads and info i gleaned from this here forum but still no joy.

im running vista 64 bit on a uptodate and modest rig. directx 10

i downloaded the sh3_xpspw res fix, i copied the two batch files and the SHIII.sdb file to the sh3 directory (programfiles/ubisoft/silenthunter3). i ran the sp2 rez fix batch file program. etc etc

i just noticed the "xp" in the name of the file, i guess this program would only work on windows xp. hmm

i wonder if someone could shed some light on this whole thing for me.

i have vista 64 and have not had this issue. what happens?

i mean that i want to play the game at a higher resolution than the 1024 × 768. my monitor is 1440 × 900.

I have GWX gold installed and I don't see an video options for resolution. Its simply check the full screen box or uncheck it. It might be a game limitation since the game was published in 2005.

Windows vista 64 bit?
all your files are set in windows Programme files 86,
this is to make your latest files compatibile with Vista
to seperate all files,
allways run a Patched game plus patches as
Administrator,
64 bit is the Future or Gaming with Vista,
Unknown to but a Few here,
Any more problems?
