I have used supply ships before, and in my experience, the patrol ends after topping up, and a new patrol begins. Is this the same for a U-Tanker? I just though this was silly, because I was always given a new partol grid after topping up, like if I had just completed a patrol, and then given new orders, then starting a new patrol.
Thanks,

Stopping the patrol and starting a new one is the only way to implement U-Tankers and Milk Cows into SH3.
Until GWX4 is released for SH4 - this will be the way things are or us. In GWX2.1 and 3.0 you do not get renown for visiting your assigned grid, nor do you lose renown for skipping out on it.

Yes, it does that. If you're playing GWX, you don't get any renown for the patrol grid anyways.
Whoops, beat to it
