Seems like a Canadian has broken a record that dated back to the Vietnam war.

Can one of the many Subsim experts confirm if the story is true? If so a kill of almost 2.5 kms is one hell of a shot.

I've read of this before and never witnessed anyone questioning/disputing the claim :hmm:

Against a human target, I believe this is the record.

However, it has been disputed by my friend, Sgt. Slyder, whose longest-range kill claim varies between 1500m and "like, 3 miles!", in direct proportion to the number of beers he has had and the number of girls listening to the story.
