Hello,
i like the ideas of driving a surface vessel, but all the surface mods dont support those supermods (like the NoCa which i really think is a GREAT mod due to the fact that is has a very nice detailed damage model) or just dont have a damage model at all. Lets say i install the latest RFB/RSRD files and mod upon them and e.g. clone a Cruiser/destroyer will it include the modenhanced damage model already ingame, or will this be a much more complicated process? thanks sploitz |

You would use the model (dat/sim/zon/etc) in the Sea folder of the mod in question.

Only if you run your mod on top of the other mod.
Ie: if you mod the dat for a ship in RFB (or RSRDC for RFB), use the RFB dat (if it has one), and as long as you are running RFB, it will still use the zon, as well as the other redefinitions. Use it with stock, and as long as you don't use the damage related stuff (the zon), should be fine. |
