Tearing on Horizon?

Hi Guys,

Im experiencing tearing on the horizon and water...it looks like little tiny white lights...its worse at dusk and dawn any help?

I think I know what you mean, I have had that since the beginning of SH3 & since then different cards, motherboards etc haven't changed it, I think it may be to do with the refresh rate or monitor vsync, not sure, I have not changed to an LCD yet, still use CRT, what monitor do you have? Can someone confirm if this still happens with LCD monitors?

Try checking the "sychronized" option from the options. Not sure if it works, havent tried, but I cant tell you that I'm getting tearing too.

I had those white flickering specs with my old Nokia crt and still have them with my new Samsung 22 inch widescreen.
High settings on AA makes it worse, AAx4 seems to be OK. No AF.
GF 8800GTS 320MB card, 180.48 drivers.

Yes Lzs von swe, that is what I get & assume the same with many players, since hardware had changed a few times & still persists I would say it's either SH3 or video settings.
