Default Constant Ticking Sound

Hi, my very first post.

I did a preliminary search but didn't find anything.
During a torpedo attack I clicked on the chronometer to take it off the screen and after the torpedo impacted the ticking sound kept going. My torpedo tube indicator light was flashing indicating it was being reloaded. I thought that was why it was still ticking but it kept going even after all the tubes were reloaded.

I just bought the downloaded version w/ uboat missions so everything is up to date as well as my video and sound card drivers.

Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks

Sounds like you PK is still functioning. Shut it off and see if the tick noise stops.

Welcome aboard Dangerclose!

Try pressing 'X' on the keyboard to toggle the stopwatch visible and stop it. The torpedo run sound is a very fast tick-tick-tick-tick sound and the stopwatch without a torpedo running is a slower one tock per second sound.

Thanks for your replies. Yep, it was the stop watch still ticking in the background.
