Starting new career in Med has Atl sea!!

Hi, just started a new Career in La Spezia however the sea is the Atlantic, I have played in the Med in the past but always transferred here with no problems! this is the first time I've ever started here.
Could someone confirm this as normal or do I have a problem?
Thanks.

?using GWX?
If so, try using only Med files.
I have never transferred to the Mediterranean from the Atlantic before, but I remember reading a thread in the past which had mention of this problem. I have always started a career in the Med, and not transferred in.

That shouldn't happen....especially if you boot the game up from SH3 Commander.

Hi Irish, well it started out that way, but has around 200 mods added, so yes & no!!

You have obviously had no problems, I might have to try Jim's suggestion.
I didn't use SH3 Commander this time Jim, this was mainly for test purposes but was surprised when it started with Atl sea, I actually wanted to get a snapshot!

Very confusing this :hmm:

As I recall, starting in the Atlantic and sailing into the Med didn't change the colour of the water and conversely, sailing from the Med into the Atlantic didn't change it back again.

I vaguely remember Commander being the answer....could be wrong though.

The water is about to change anyway

Interesting, could this be a GWX4 hint or GWX3 update ... the mind boggles!! however I still use and prefer the 8k atmosphere!!
I did try as you said Jim and ran SH3 Commander first & no problems.
