The enemies enabled a radar at my helicopter!

In the engine of game there is an essential bug - if your helicopter will be counter detection "not by the friend" and the is classified as -HOSTILE -, then by the helicopter the NavalSimEngine will under duress switch ON a Your Helo radar.[Evil,Damn It…]

It is fair as well for the surface ships - while they were NOT found out by an enemy, the radars at them will be switched off ( If EMCON Option Enabled In Mission Editor). But if there will be an counter detection (for example: AI SUB will find out this ship), the NavalSimEngine also will switch ON radars by the ship.

It is simply incredible - how the submarine can, SWITCH ON radars an the Enemy ship and even by the at helicopter with which the player from the ship controls?

Are you saying that radar will automatically be turned on upon detection by enemy?

If the hostile sub which has found out your helicopter on periscope depth - she will switch on radars by your helicopter. Even when the helicopter pinged on distance of 18 miles from sub position.

If the sub not on periscope depth - then she radars will not switch on.

Oh the sub will turn on its radar when at persicope depth after sighting enemy helo through the periscope. . .

Imo it must be the doctrine. Or the mission design. Perhaps the sub was set(assigned) to either to track the helo or to attack the helo :hmm:.

Perhaps you could open up that particular mission with the editor and see what the sub was assigned to?

If you find nothing there you could suspect the doctrine to be the cause of it.

ANY AI sub on periscope depth (except those that can be user controlled), which detects ANY AI ship with the switched OFF radar, or the AI helo with the switched OFF radar, launched from the user controlled ship, makes they radar switched ON!!! And it does not depend on the doctrine or mission design.

Эти баги просто достали!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Кто там чем думал не понятно!!!!!

That sounds bad. I'm not sure i've seen it in game but then again I may not have noticed it before. . .

Kpv1974 are you Russian? there's a flash news on subsim homepage about an accident aboard an Akula class(971 or Bars class) SSN in the Pacific. 20 people died with another 21 injured. Have you heard or read what actually caused the accident? 20 people is a lot of people...How could a fire extinguishing system caused 20 people to die and injured so many?
