change realism for save game

i saved a game just after outbreak of war but now i realised i left map contact updates on by mistake

any way i can get to load my save but at the same time update the realism setting as well?

i tried changing realism then loading my save but the realism got back.

heres hoping theres a way!!

I have no idea what effect this will have, so do this at your own risk.

In the folder ...\My Documents\SH3\data\cfg\ you will find the file GamplaySettings.cfg. Open it in notepad and the rest should be fairly obvious. Find the setting you desire to change and toggle the true/false part.

Again, I have no idea if that will even work but that is where it is apparently stored.
