This is no a Financial crisis, it is actually an information grab by the US Gov!!!!

This theory just popped into my head. Think about it, what is the US Gov buying up? An international insurance company has data on customers about what it is they own and where just for starters. Banks with credit cards have data on what it is exactly that people buy. This is just the tip too. They will have dirt on virtually everyone soon...

This just went from annoying to SCARY for me. I know the US Gov is jealous of the data retention capabilities of industry, for which the US Gov is barred from collecting....

What do you guys think?

Personally, I don't think that's the reason. I think the US government gathers and retains information in spite of bans against it, so they have no need to buy up companies just to get that information.

No - now they can freely get it now. And cheaply. Keep interest low and credit flowing, people think the good times will never end! They get into trouble, things fail, and now the US Gov can buy the companies with the information for cheap.

Think about it. This was engineered.

And no - this type of information was barred without court order to the US Gov.

I'm well aware that the internet I am on now is the George Orwell "telescreen". I am not happy I am or can be watched but I 100% expect it. Do I like it? Hell no. BUT let me show you what the government knows about me now.

1. I am a liberal.
2. I'm not religious, nor am I an atheist.
3. I like pictures of naked girls over 18 years old.
4. Cheerleaders are awesome.
5. I suck really bad at pacific fighters.
6. I fire manual torpedos and miss 60% of the time.

That's more or less me in a nutshell, nothing groundbreaking.
