WASHINGTON - The FBI searched the residence of the son of a Democratic state lawmaker in Tennessee over the weekend looking for evidence linking the young man to the hacking of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's personal e-mail account, two law enforcement officials told The Associated Press on Monday.

Meh... just because he is the son of a Democratic Senator doesent really implicate the Democrats at large.

"If Mike had known anything about this, he would have had a fit on his son," Deberry said. "When I saw his reaction when he first heard about it, the absolute fear and shock that was on his face, I realized then he had absolutely nothing to do with it."

It really doesent supprise me though. Why on earth would a republican do such a thing? Biden's email maybe.

Just as well though with all the effort, man hours, dozens of investigative reporters and journalists sent to alaska with the sole intention of 'digging up dirt' on Ms. Palin they have found nothing of consiquence.

OMG, who cares? The FBI has a whole lot more items on its plate than to worry about this woman's website - I would hope. She doesn't matter; the hacking doesn't matter, and thank God, the whole thing will be behind us mercifully soon. Could we put this non-event to rest and concentrate on something that matters - like the implosion of our economy, for instance?

Not too familiar with all that political BS, but that "hack" could've been performed by every forum member!
Somebody found out that palin had a Yahoo adress, and the "I forgot my password" questions Palin had picked could be answered after reading her biography on Wikipedia ("what school did I go to" etc).
That was the great hack.
Now if I can do it, does that make me a l33t Haxx0r as well?
