I don't think I'm gonna make it this time

It's September 13th 1943, I was patrolling BE38 when I received report of a large convoy in my vicinity. It was coming right at me, and I was in perfect position for attack.

They spotted my periscope just when I was getting ready to fire, and now I've got 6 DDs after me, pinging and depth-charging all over the place.

I'm at 170 meters and don't want to go deeper because I was damaged before, and I don't know the condition of my hull. It seams I'm doomed.

That's the problem - I don't know. I was already hit by depth-charge once, and bombed 2-3 times. None of my systems were destroyed, and the damage was minor, but I don't know in what condition the pressure hull is.

I guess none of those was a direct hit.

Yup, I've got plenty. It's been a lousy patrol. I sunk only 3 ships and damaged one, and I'm out there for weeks.

Despite my pessimistic predictions, I managed to escape, without serious damage. Going after the convoy again.

@Meduza

I am, in fact, eminently aware of this fact now. Actually, I totally wigged out and was going to try and shoot one. Bad idea to begin with.

Never tried at 25m, but I did at 36. The outcome was tragical.
