I do wish ubisoft would make a sim with modern day naval units..

:hmm: ...Sorry but I can't join in that petition. To me it would be boring beyond belief unless it were some kind of fictional "what if" WWIII nuclear doomsday senario. Then too, I like the historical context of subsimming too much to get very involved with that type of thing. I have my hands full just deciding between Atlantic and Pacific.

(Probably too... this should be in the General Discussion section rather than the SHIV specific forum.

..but thats for others to rule on.)

I too share the same point of view as Seminole does. Apart from the fact that it would be rather difficult to make a modern day realistic subsim without shooting your own sales in the leg.

I'm totally counting the seconds until a modern (Virginia class anyone??) sim with the graphics and depth of SHIV is released.
