Default I've Not Seen This Before

I intercepted a Jap convoy in late 1943 near Truck. After sinking a couple of the merchies I took a look around with the external camera. There was a small merchant that had two turrets on it, one about a third back from the bow and another on the stern. These were not the open guns usually seen on a merchant--they were turrets such as on a warship. As I watched, she pumped star shell after star shell into the air. Also, she was completely light gray in color. At first I thought it was a video card anomally, but that was not the case. All the other ships were marked normally. I wondered if she was some kind of Q ship. After the action was over I layed doggo for a while nearby. After the escorts departed I went to periscope depth for a look around. There off my stern 800 yards away was the Q ship. I fired one torpedo at her. That's when the next odd thing occured--when the torpedo hit the ship she vaporized, no debris, no nothing. One second she was there, then boom, she was totally gone. Wierd.

That is weird, never had anything like that happen before. :hmm:

Using any mods? 1.4 / 1.5?

...for at least 24 hours prior to playing this sim. Failure to do so may result in unpredictable consequences which may in turn lead to posts on related and or unrelated forums.

Case closed.
