Two questions.
First, is the gold edition worth getting. Second, the problem with Silent Hunter 3 was crew management. Frankly, I was not a fan of constantly moving the crew around. Does the gold edition solve this problem? |

I think you'd better post this in the SHIV or SHIV ATO forum.
P.S. Welcome aboard.

WELCOME ABOARD!
![]() SH4 has a completely different crew management system, complete with assigned watch-rotation bills. They take care of themselves. If you use SH3 Commander you can select 'No Fatigue' as an option. The Gold edition is SH4 plus the U-boat add-on in one package. I would say it's definitely worth getting. Beyond that, GE is right: there are four whole forums devoted to SH4, and a lot of folks who have played it for awhile who would be glad to show you around it.

If you use GWX 2 and SH3 Commander it allows you to use a no
fatige (sp) switch where you don't have to move your crew.
