I am finally moved in, set up and the computer is upgraded so I can really get back into this little project of mine. so do not be suprised if you see my million question march revive heehehehheh.

some research needed here

Now before you ask,, I am trying to get the deck gun on her, no luck yet, Problem is making an 88mm go onto a Type IIA boat at start of war,, If you know how, HELP!!

finally someone out there can create a WWI SH3 Sub mod game, I'm hoping the GWX team could join :hmm: you and help build a WW1 SH3 Sub mod game like the GWX addon mod.

I don't forget you have to set the year into WWI not in WWII years other than that ther picture looks really cool and the sub as well TOP job maybe Tomi could help you with sub mod.

Finally who going to create a WW1 complete ships mod addon? would be very interesting to see.

Best you rename it like this:

Für Kaiser und König.

Because the Kaiser is above the King.

Example:
Wilhelm II, Kaiser von Deutschland und König von Preußen
Translated:
Wilhelm II, Emperor of Germany and King of Prussia.

Hi all.

Sorry for the lapse,, Job took me away for a few months. I am back and starting again. While gone I completed the U-87 model, Now I will start skinning U-Duetchland so kindly offered to be by Deamon. That will bring in a whole new phase or way to try to live through the war.
First up though I must kill the bug that is so damning this project. Why I cannot get the deck gun to work without CTD. If I leave in the attachment point for the deck gun, it CTD's every time and I am not smart enough yet to know why. To me this is a most important feature as the gun was used far more then the torpedo in WWI.
Wish me luck. And sorry for being gone, it came up and I had 3 hours to pack and go.

there are some interior shots which would add to the atmosphere - too bad there is no real "torpedo" or "engine" compartment to "walk through" in SH III

Additionally the german Bundesarchiv (State/Federal Archive ?) released a lot of photos that can be found here, some show actual photos from WW1 U-boats, if only a few.
