Default GWX+OLCE2 Game pauses/lags when diving??

Everytime I dive or order periscope depth by pressing the "p" key, the game will seemingly freeze for about 30-40 seconds after the CO has stated "periscope depth" or "new depth X meters". and will only begin diving after the sound effect where the german voices are and you can hears the sub going down (sorry I dont have a more technical explanation for the SFX). I've tried reinstalling to no avail. when I dive in free cam it seems to lag when the crew is removed from the bridge. I also experience lag when chaning the crew to "surface cruise" or "surface attack" although only the first time its selected, while the dive problem is everytime.

Here are the mods I use in case its a problem with those, but I have tried it without OLCE2..

SH3 Commander
SH3Weather1.5
GWX - Captain America's Officer Icons
GWX - English Nav Map and Grid Refs
GWX - Integrated Orders
GWX - Lite Harbor Traffic
GWX - Main movie - 'Das Boot'
GWX - Open Hatch Mod
GWX 2.1 Mission Orders
GWX 2.1 Warning Orders
GWX - Contact Color
OLCE2
OLCE2 - Adjusted GWX 2.1 Crew Skins
OLCE2 - Adjusted GWX 2.1 Enhanced Particle Effects (with reflections)

Any help is greatly appreciated as it's driving me insane .

I am experiencing the same happenings. When diving or changing crew shifts in stations for the first time it has always been a lagie thing.. But for the first time only right ?

I think more RAM's and probably better video card would solve this madness.

I still have 1 GB of ram, and Nvidia GF 6600, so I think it's normal for me.. :hmm:

Lack of sufficiant hardware isnt the general prob i think. I suspect it happens when the WA is determining the range and direction of a just spotted vessel. I noticed it when i ordered to give me the info on the closest target being surfaced when there were just some ships popped up out of the light fog. It didnt take 30s only like 5-7s when im near a large convoy. I use the workaround and move the WA manually downstairs before i hit the "p".

Its most worst when i have 15m/s waves and its bouncing between visual and hydrocontact mode.

Same delay i have when i just entered a patrol being too close or still inside the harbor and move an officer to the WA spot on deck.

I don't think its RAM for me. (2GB Corsair, 8800GT)

I'm not sure what the problem WAS but after I reinstalled the game for the third time all was well.
