I have seen in a lot of files sns it: RadioDF
Submarine/NSS_Uboat7c/NSS_Uboat7c. SNS ;RadioDF----------------- what is this????? ![]() [Sensor 8] NodeName=D01 LinkName=NULL StartDate=19380101 EndDate=19451231 for all u-boots and Land/LAB_NormalAirBaseGB/LAB_NormalAirBaseGB. SNS ;RadioDF ----------------what is this????? ![]() [Sensor 5] NodeName=D01 LinkName=NULL StartDate=19380101 EndDate=19451231 for all lands I have not seen for the boats in file SNS .... knows somebody to me it says what they is this RadioDF ???? ![]() |

Don't know how/what it is in SH3 terms. Or how it can be used as a sensor. But a 'radio direction finder' is that circular antenna rotating on the bridge. It's a dipole antenna that is sensitive in a certain direction, and by turning you can determine the bearing to the transmitter (or opposite bearing). But the radio operators around here in the forum can explain it in far more detail than me, I'm sure. Here's a wiki page to start-off.

DF is the abbreviation for direction finder and the rotating antenna on the tower is an early simple device to find the rough direction of a radio signal.

I believe that the SH3 does not support radio df...... possibly drew
sometimes radjodf other him did not complete.. ![]() ![]() |
