Default time compression help!!!

lo kaleuns.

does anyone know a workaround to a problem i'm having.

i use commander and have time comp. set to 1 when recieving radio messages.
i also have it set to 1 on enemy ship detected.

the thing thats doing my head in is when im crossing the atlantic on high tc....and a contact report comes....you know....task force or convoy....if i'm out of the room...by the time i get back hours have passed and the contact has gone!!.

tc drops to 1 when in close proximity to a ship...but not when its simply passing through your sector. its infuriating

is there a way to drop to tc1 when these convoy reports are given..or the map is updated with a report?

cheers

I'm not positive this will do the trick for what your after but with Commander try adjusting the "Real Time" compression setting.

lo mate

real time is already at 1 in comander. all messages like yours are knocking me into realtime...but when...say a ship icon is put onthe map any serious distance from me...the tc stays at 1024.e.g.

if im not looking at the screen then its hours later in game time when i notice.

In SH3 Commander all the TC levels can be set to '0'; but this won't help your problem. Radio messages can be set to '1' or '0', but contact reports are not radio messages. They have no affect on the game, as far as I know.

Me, I ALWAYS pause the game whenever I leave my computer. Period. If I'm running at high TC then it won't matter if it's paused for a couple of minutes. I don't want to miss anything, even if it's nothing.

I always read as I play. I often miss a convoy report by a hour or more (Game
time!) because I did not look up often enough.

LETUM!!!

Same here bro!!

i always like to read...usually something to do with the atlantic..but nontheless....its annoying to miss out on juicy targets like this.

@Sailor Steve: my good friend...i take your advice (And Mods:rotfl: ) but sometimes im not even out the room...but simply reading... as letum says..and i miss a contact report like you say.

is there a way a fellow kaleun can mod this??

IT'S BEEN ASKED BEFORE>>>>HASNT'T IT???
