Hmm!?! ,big Ships .

Hi there " slupanter " !

Finding big ships it's not easy , you see.
But you can sail to Gibraltar , into the strait on silent engine about 13-14 meters under the surface , and when you come through ( safely ) you turn to babord and you find " HMS Nelson in the northwestern corner of Gibraltar Harbour but I must say this again , be very very very careful , but it depends how year your in but in 1942-43 it's not easy, those destroyers are very agressive around that time
But I had sunk "HMS Nelson " several times here's onee of them :

Do a search for "habor raiding" or similar keywords, and you'll come to a thread with all the details AND suggestions for various harbors. Personally, I stay the hell away from them, unless they are right next door to deep water. It doesn't help that I have a big IXB, but they're often more trouble than they are worth. Having said that, I did raid Scapa Flow in 1940 with a VIIB, and got a cruiser and an auxillary cruiser, so you should definitely do your research if you want to hit the big ones!

Personally, I'm seriously tempted to try and intercept some big ships from Operation Torch that's just around the corner from me now...

Chech Alexandria if you visit the mediterranean. It's a nice city with Nelson, three Dido class cruisers, a large tanker, large merchant, various smaller cargo ships, and of course destroyers lying at the harbor. Visited it myself last night, got Nelson, 4 destoyers and 2 Didos before running out of eels.

And just outside I found a task force with Nelson (again!), Rodney, 2 more Didos and King George VII. But i didn't dare to pursue them with my deck gun.

It's late 1941 and GWX 2.1.

Malta, AM36, st. George's Channel, west of Ireland, oh and you could of course be just North of the Normandy beaches on June 6 1944
