Default KBR flag flying over U.S. Army base

Is anyone else as disgusted by this as I am?

Current or former subsidiary of Haliburton (not sure if they were split off from the parent company of Haliburton or not, havent read up on it)

Couple links:

http://www.kbr.com/

Wasn't Dick Cheney their CEO at one point in time, or was that Halliburton proper? I forget.

At any rate, i can't say i like companies profiting from things like Iraq. To me it feels like they're exploiting our troops and America itself, for personal profit.

I guess we should be grateful that at least KBR allowed the American flag to be higher.

That's kind of harsh dont you think? That flag setup is standard corporate practice at every office i've ever seen.

I checked out the thread to see another welcome bashing of KBR, instead I find myself shocked and transfixed by how awful the US army's new uniform is. Is this what they call they ACU? It looks like a bag of crap, like a set of baggy unisex novelty pyjamas - the sort of thing that Poles fall upon in Primark. It's bad enough that HMF have abandoned lightweights and wooly-pullys for CS95, but surely the Americans can afford to have a smart OG barrack/utility dress as well as fighting gear? I take it this is an extension of the laughable "soldier first, trade second" philosophy that tries to make lorry drivers and electricians feel like Delta Force? (grasping flag) Is this what good men died for???

note: I notice he has a grenade launcher on his 16, which does make up for it slightly
