Default Weather Observation

I'm posting in this forum, because I'm useing several mods which may be a contributing factor. First the Mods for 1.5: RFB, RSRD, OM, PE, assorted skins, and the German speach mod. Let me start by saying everything seems to be working, and looking great. I'm currently playing an Operation Drumbeat campaign courtesy of OM. I started from Lorient around Dec.18, 41 and was assigned to patrol in a grid off the US coast. It is now almost January, and I have sailed nearly halfway across the Atlantic with the same weather conditions: Clear skies, 0 wind, flat calm seas. This seems a bit odd to me. Has anyone experienced this type of weather befor? Could there possibly be some sort of conflict with my mods which has an adverse effect on weather changes? :hmm:

High TC usually contributes to the "stuck weather" effect, although I've been transversing the map with 2048x speed and still got weather changes. Or, it could very well be a random fluke. It happens.

Thanks for the response Dr. Beast. I was afraid something got borked with my mods, although I can't understand how. I can't believe I'm actually looking forwards to some lousy weather

Hiya's,
I've found 512x to be the best setting for not slowing down the weather cycling, maybe as DB says 2048x is fine also

I tend to make a snack with a coffee while heading out from midway occasionally going 1x to admire PE3 visuals

Ciao

This thread sure is disheartening. I simply cannot play the game at such low TC scales. Even 2048 takes too long with how big the Pacific is compared to the Atlantic.

Can the weather data be modified somehow or is it hardcoded?

And gives graphic glitches. Don't use that key combo.

Default TC?

I'm using 1.4 with TMO and RSRD and my standard TC setting is 5190 for getting across the Pacific. I have not come across any 'stuck' weather systems although I have spent a couple of days in nasty weather but it eventually does change.:hmm:
